One community project by Vietpera and our friends brings Japanese to life for Vietnamese kids through fun and practical activities like games, songs, and Japanese stories, fostering a natural understanding of the language.

The project takes place at different locations throughout Vietnam.

“Healthy & Joyful Summer” Program in Ho Chi Minh City

Time: 4 weeks from June 15 - July 13, 2024

Place: Sắc Màu Class, Picity High Park, Thanh Xuan 13 Street, Thanh Xuan Ward, District 12 (C3.1-1.06)

Vietpera’s community project had been carefully prepared since March 2024.

It has received heartfelt support from friends and companions—some long-time connections, others who simply crossed paths by chance yet chose to join hands out of shared resonance. ❤

The project began its very first step in Ho Chi Minh City through the program “Healthy & Joyful Summer”, co-organized with Sac Mau Bookstore.

We offered 10 scholarships for primary school students (aged 7–11).

😍 To our surprise, the program received tremendous interest, with half of the seats filled even before any official communication was launched.

A Summer of Joy, Health, and Meaningful Learning

In May 2024, our 5-week “Healthy & Joyful Summer” program came to a vibrant and heartfelt close. What began as a simple idea—to create a space where children could learn naturally, joyfully, and with intention—gradually unfolded into something much more meaningful.

Hosted at the warm and creative space of our venue partner, Sac Mau Bookstore, the program welcomed young learners aged 7 to 11 into an environment where learning was not about pressure, but about experience.

At Vietpera, we believe that children do not truly learn through memorization alone, but through direct witnessing—through moments they can feel, connect with, and remember.

Throughout the program, the children explored a unique combination of:

  • Japanese language learning, approached naturally through sound, rhythm, and context

  • Storytelling Yoga, guided by our partner Yoga Planet, where movement and imagination came together in a gentle and engaging way

This integration allowed the children not only to learn, but to experience language and body awareness at the same time—in a way that felt light, joyful, and deeply human.

We are deeply grateful to:

  • Yoga Planet, for bringing such a thoughtful and inspiring practice to the children

  • Our dedicated teachers, who prepared each session with genuine care and attention

  • And all the friends and supporters who, whether planned or by chance, chose to walk alongside us in this journey

What touched us most was not just the number of participants, but the energy, curiosity, and openness that each child brought into the space.

This program was only the beginning.

As we look ahead, Vietpera remains committed to building more spaces where children can grow—not only in language, but in awareness, connection, and humanity.

Let’s look forward to a healthy, joyful, and radiant future from Vietpera and our partners.
